Marc I. Cangemi
Marc I Cangemi is a recent graduate of Villanova University where he received two degrees, a BS in Accountancy and BBA in Management Information Systems, both with honors, in May 2006. Marc has interned at BDO Seidman and Ernst & Young and has accepted a position at E&Y post graduation.
Marc studied International Business focused on the European economy at John Cabot University in Italy during the summer of 2004. His thoughts the accounting profession were published as “A Student Member’s Views on the Profession” in the July 2003 Journal of Accountancy.
At Villanova Marc was a member of the Blue Key Society and Villanova Institute for Teaching and Learning. He was President of the Interfraternity Council and the Villanova Chapter of Association of Information Technology Professionals. He is a member of  the Omicron Delta Kappa, National Leadership Honor Society and The Order of Omega Honor Society (Top 3% of Greek affiliated students in USA.) He was inducted into The Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities in January 2006.
Marc is a Vice President at Cangemi Company LLC, a family media and consulting firm centered around – Management, IT & Financial Governance.  He provides technical and operations support, is the company web master and has participated on client assignments, developing a credit card privacy policy for a fashion company. In March 2006, he was quoted in NETWORKWORLD on the next generation of IT executives.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from St Josephs High School were he distinguished himself as Student Council Vice President, National Honor Society Member, Varsity Volleyball – Captain, All-State (2002) and State Champion(2002) and Campus Ministry Coordinator. He was awarded the  Guy Treney Scholarship from his high school and Citizenship Award from his township.
